Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Reverse Singing handles information when users install or use the Android app.

Effective date: March 14, 2026 Contact: support@dahmani.me

1. Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to the Reverse Singing Android application, including recording, playback, sharing, ad-supported use, and optional subscription purchases.

2. Information the app handles

The app may handle the following categories of information:

  • Audio recordings and derived files. When a user records audio, the app stores the original and reversed audio files on the user’s device.
  • Exported share files. If a user exports audio with modified speed or pitch, the app creates a temporary file in app cache for sharing.
  • Subscription and purchase information. If a user purchases or restores a subscription, the app and its subscription providers may process product identifiers, entitlement status, purchase status, transaction identifiers, and pricing details.
  • Advertising, analytics, attribution, and crash data. Third-party SDKs used by the app may process device identifiers, app events, ad interaction data, approximate diagnostics, subscription attribution signals, and crash information.
  • Support communications. If a user emails support, the developer receives the content of that message and any information the user chooses to include.
  • Local app settings and usage counters. The app stores settings and monetization-state preferences locally on the device, such as playback settings, review timing, ad timing, and paywall state.

3. Permissions

The app currently requests the following Android permissions:

  • RECORD_AUDIO to let users record audio inside the app.
  • INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, and ACCESS_WIFI_STATE for subscriptions, ads, analytics, attribution, crash reporting, and remote configuration.
  • Google Play Billing for optional subscription purchases.

4. How information is used

  • To record, reverse, play, rename, delete, and share user audio files.
  • To provide subscriptions, restore purchases, and determine premium access.
  • To serve ads to non-subscribers and manage privacy choices for ads where required.
  • To measure app performance, monitor crashes, and understand product usage.
  • To attribute installs or subscription events to advertising campaigns.
  • To display remote configuration values such as review prompts, paywall timing, and ad settings.
  • To respond to user support requests.

5. Third-party services

Reverse Singing currently uses third-party services that may process information on the developer’s behalf or under their own privacy terms, including:

  • Google Play Billing for subscription payments
  • RevenueCat for subscription management and entitlement status
  • Firebase Analytics for app analytics
  • Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting
  • Firebase Remote Config for remote feature flags and thresholds
  • Google Mobile Ads / AdMob and Google UMP for advertising and consent flows
  • Appodeal mediation and configured ad network adapters
  • AppsFlyer for attribution and marketing analytics

These services may collect device, event, diagnostic, purchase, and attribution information according to their own documentation and privacy practices.

6. Where user audio is stored

Audio recordings are stored locally on the user’s device in app-controlled storage. The app does not upload those recordings to the developer’s servers as part of normal use.

If the user chooses to share audio, the app prepares a file locally and hands that file to Android’s sharing system or another app the user selects.

7. Backups and device transfer

The app currently allows Android backup and device transfer features. Depending on the user’s device settings and Google account backup settings, some app data may be included in device backup or restore workflows.

8. Retention

  • Local recordings remain on the device until the user deletes them or uninstalls the app.
  • Temporary share-export files are created in cache and may be removed by the app or the device.
  • Third-party analytics, billing, attribution, and crash services may retain data under their own retention rules.
  • Support emails are retained for support, troubleshooting, and recordkeeping purposes.

9. User choices

  • Users can deny microphone permission, although recording features will not work without it.
  • Users can delete recordings inside the app.
  • Users can uninstall the app to remove app-local data from the device.
  • Users can manage subscriptions through Google Play.
  • Where available, users can access ad privacy options and consent controls.
  • Users can contact support at support@dahmani.me.

10. Children

Reverse Singing is not designed as a children’s app and is not knowingly intended to collect personal information from children.

11. Security

The app uses HTTPS-only network configuration for its own network traffic settings. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and no absolute security guarantee is made.

12. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The latest version will be posted at this URL, and the effective date will be updated when material changes are made.
